Miniatures

We plan to add more summer village miniatures over the next few years. The kits contain 14 and 18-count aida, stranded cotton, felt, plastic canvas, needle, chart and full instructions, and the Butterfly Cottage kit also contains beads.

Butterfly Cottage

The owners of this cottage are very concerned about conservation and grow plants to encourage bees and butterflies. Buddleia blooms around the walls, with beads representing the flowers, and lavender and other sweet smelling shrubs are found in the garden. They’ve stencilled a stylised butterfly motif around the walls as well. This cottage stands approximately 6 cms high.

With every purchase of this kit, the Nutmeg Company donates £1 to Butterfly Conservation Yorkshire. This charity is 40 years old this year and works tirelessly to protect butterflies, moths and their habitats, as many species of butterfly are under threat in Yorkshire.

Flat rate £3.50 in total for orders for delivery in the UK, £5.95 in total for orders for delivery in Europe and £8.95 in total for orders for delivery anywhere else in the world. However many items you order, this is the maximum postage you will pay.
