Medium Keepsake KitsThe range is divided into large, medium and small designs reflecting mainly their finished size, to make it a bit easier to choose the kind of project you would like. Smaller keepsakes tend to be quicker to stitch, but can be a bit more fiddly to assemble. Being small, they look adorable when done, but obviously hold less by way of trinkets or pictures. Larger keepsakes will usually have more stitching to do but can be easier to put together and will hold more and bigger things when done. In between are the happy mediums! These pieces are designed to be both practical and useful. The trinket boxes vary between oblong, square and octagonal shapes. A picture frame and trinket trays complete the range. The trinket boxes are lined with good quality 28-count evenweave fabric, carefully chosen to match the colours of the cross stitched design, and the lids are slightly padded. These kits contain stitching and lining fabrics, wadding, plastic canvas (ultra stiff for the square and rectangular designs for added strength), DMC threads, needle, charts and full instructions. Evening in Westminster BoxThe picture in the centre of the lid shows the sun going down on the city of Westminster. The lamps along Westminster Bridge are lit, but work will continue in the Houses of Parliament for some time yet, while Big Ben marks the hours. A red London bus is worked inside the lid and wording may be worked inside the lid rim - a quotation about London perhaps, or your name and the date you completed the box. An alphabet is included in the instructions to help you devise this. The kit contains 16-count aida, evenweave for lining, wadding, stranded cotton and Light Effects thread, ultra stiff plastic canvas to form the box, needle, chart and full instructions. 2¾" square and 4¾" high (7 cms square and 4.25 cms high) approx
