Large De-Luxe Greetings Cards

This series of greetings cards are all worked on 14-count stitching paper. Each kit contains the stitching paper, needle, threads, backing paper, envelope, chart and full instructions. The cut-out and stand up features give a three-dimensional look to the designs, but don't require any construction. All the effects are achieved by cutting and folding as explained in the instructions, and the results are very special cards to send to very special people. These projects involve a little more stitching and more materials than the ordinary large cards, but give an extra special result when completed.

Greetings Cards for Special Occasions

Greetings Cards for Special OccasionsSome occasions deserve a celebratory greetings card! There are so many reasons for saying Well Done, Congratulations, Best Wishes and many more sentiments. These eight designs aim to provide you with the perfect card for any happy occasion. The bouquets of flowers are worked in different colour combinations - you choose the one that suits your situation best and devise a message using the alphabets and numbers given. Five of the variations are linked to the milestone wedding anniversaries with a design of rings at the corners, but alternative charts give a different design for the corners, so the card could be used for a birthday, an achievement or whatever you wish. Similarly, there are blue & white, pink and multicoloured variations with floral corners which can be made for a wedding, engagement or anniversary using the ring motif if you wish. Each kit contains 14-count stitching paper, backing paper, envelope, stranded cotton, metallic thread, beads, needles, chart and full instructions, including suggestions for changing details to suit your occasion.

De-Luxe Christmas Cards

Victorian Style Cards

We are used to cards that fold in half, but the Victorians began the fashion with cards intended to be propped up on the mantlepiece or placed tastefully on display among the ornaments in a Victorian home. These first cards were more like postcards - but they became increasingly elaborate and Meg has reflected that high Victorian feel with this gorgeous green-and-gold themed card in the form of a fan.
