Paperweights

These designs are intended to be decorative and practical. The semi-circular base can hold a heavy substance, thus making a useful paperweight. The kit does not contain any ballast, but the instructions explain how to add it at the construction stage. A bag of gravel, bought from an aquarium centre, was used to make the original paperweights.
